The Museum of Visual Design (“MoVD”) (“Company” or “we”) respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy.

This policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you register an account with us (“Account”) or otherwise using or visiting any MoVD website, application, product, software, tool, or any other means you may be able to access MoVD services (collectively, the Services)  and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting and disclosing such information. 

Please read this policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your choice is not to use our Services.  By accessing and using our Services, you agree to this privacy policy.

Your User Contributions are posted on and transmitted to others at your own risk. (In this policy, “User Contributions” refers to your publicly available profile information and all content you may share using the Service we make available to you). Although we may limit access to certain pages, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.  Additionally, we cannot control the actions of other users of the Services with whom you may choose to share your user contributions.

You may request to review, correct, delete or otherwise modify any of the Personal Information that you have previously provided to us. If you have a registered account with us, you may generally update your user settings by logging into the Services with your username and password.  To delete your account, you may send us an email at [email address].  We may not delete your personal information except by also deleting your user account.  We may not accommodate your request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect. 

If you delete your User Contributions from the Services, copies of your User Contributions may remain viewable in cached and archived pages, or might have been copied or stored by other users. 


Data Security 

We have implemented reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to secure your personal information. No method of transmission over the internet, mobile technology or other method of electronic storage, is completely secure. The safety and security of your information also depends on you.  Where we have given you or where you have chosen a password for access to parts of the Services, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential.  We ask you not to share your password with anyone. 


Retention Policy 

We will only retain your personally identifiable information as long as reasonably required to provide you with the Services, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
